African Violets

Phoenix African Violet Show 2/18/12

I don't know if any of you are in the Phoenix area, but tomorrow, Feb 18, is the annual African Violet & Gesneriad show and sale. It will be at the Valley Garden Center, 1809 N. 15th Avenue, which is just one block north of McDowell Rd. I wanted to post this just in case anyone else lives in the area. I start looking forward to this about October of every year...time to get my "fix". I think this year I will stick to buying leaves and plantlets. Loretta

Well, they didn't have any leaves for sale so I ending up buying some plants. Wasn't hard to do :) I got there a few minutes after the sale started and already the tables were only half full and with all the people milling around, I couldn't get pictures. It was fun...now I have to wait another year to go again. LOL
