Hi!
I purchased my first African Violet and have been caring for it for about three weeks, and so far it has been thriving and had no problems. I check on it every day to watch the progress of all the buds. Yesterday, I noticed the biggest bud on the plant had gone from green to a yucky brown. Not only that, but the petals on the flower on the same 'main stem' as the bud are starting to turn brown on the edges. The flowers and buds on the other main stems are still beautiful and healthy looking. Is there something wrong with that single 'main stem'? Should I check the roots? Remove that stem from the rest of the plant? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
