Started at 6 hrs. a day doing 10 the last two days

I keep my lights on for a minimum of 10 hours and increase it to 12 before show.

I think Thom was asking more about the distance of the lights to the plants rather than the length of time the lights are on. I suppose it depends on the type of AV. Minis can get closer from what I understand. I have a semi and some babies that I keep about 12" from my two 40 watt shop light fixture, I'm planning on moving them a bit closer though. I moved it too close a while back and they got burnt. So you may want to just slowly move it closer and see how the plants react.

I didn't take too long to move them closer at first because they were in front of a southeast window before, so they were no stranger to light. But then I moved it even closer several months later and it turned out bad.

That's just what I think, although I have more questions than answers around here so wait for someone else to reply :)

I was asking if I should lower my lights yet. I forgot to use a ? in my post. Sorry.

My three Noids have been under the lights for a week now and the leaves are still reaching for the light. Has this been enough time to lower my lights? I have two 48" T8's 12 plus inches above the highest leaves.

I did lower the lights 1 inch today.

Either you lower lights down - or increase the hours. As long as they are not way too close or way too far - and you do not burn them 24 hours. It sums.
