Urea free fertilizer - dilution rate confusion??

I've been unable to find urea-free fertilizer in my area until I went to Lowe's tonight. I found Better-Gro Orchid Bloom Booster, 11-35-15, and it is urea-free. It recommends one teaspoon per gallon of water every fourth time the orchids are watered.

How does this translate on using it on my African Violets? I have a couple of standards and just got a bunch of minis so I don't want to give them the wrong fertilizer or strength.

What dilution rate should I use for this one and how often should I use it? Should I see if this brand has a urea-free regular fertilizer? Most of the minis are also varegated so does that mean I need a different formulation for them?

I plan on putting the minis in Oyama self-watering planters. Will this require a different frequency of fertilizing?

Thanks for your knowledgeable input!

Elaine
