Say an AV leaf was bought. The leaf rooted and grew into a plant. Although given adequate light, the same as nearby

well-formed neighbor violets, this plant grew gangly leaves. It has not improved over time. The flowers are

beautiful. Is there any way to get a well-formed plant,

perhaps starting again from a leaf? The plant is so

unattractive, I don't want to grow it even though the blooms are beautiful.
