No, it just means that Lyons chose not to register the plant at this time. They may decide to register it at a future date.

If it isn't registered there is no reason why you cannot show it. The only class in a show that needs registered plants is the AVSA Collections.

Thanks so much I was wondering about that, but also didn't know if that would ever matter to me. If I ever did enter a show one violet would be enough for me!
