viola labradorica info needed

So I looked out my back window, and right on the other side of my gate (And a little in my yard) Were these little purple flowers. Come to find out (Thank you google) they are viola labradorica. Now, the area they were growing in is the edge of dense woods, norther facing, very shady and moist. Same as the flower bed on the front of my house norther facing, dense shade, moist. So I did a little research on them, says full sun? I took a few and planted them in my garden bed hoping they fill in and make a nice ground cover. Any tips on how to get them to fill in and grow to their full potential? I transplanted them about a week ago, they look really good still.

Thanks guy and gals
