| Years ago I ordered 90% of my collection from an African Violate co. named Optimera. I recommend them highly. |

| According to their site, the company was founded by Martin Dorrenbach in Germany, and then passed to his son-in-law Hermann Holtkamp. The company is still owned by the Holtkamps. It seems that when the company first started marketing in America in 1977, they started the "Optimara" brand to distinguish it from the european "Holtkamp" side of the business. It should be noted that the site refers to the American business as "Holtkamp Greenhouses" and that Optimara is just a brand name used in the US. Mark |
