Interesting, makes me kinda wish I read Russian....

Take a look at Lyndon Lyons website, in particular Playful Spectrum, a standard. Keep in mind that with the fantasy blooms that they will have varying amounts of fantasy as they bloom. There is also Bold Party Girl, for me it blooms very similar to your Russian, without the green.

I have to admit it, I have a really hard time wrapping my head around a blossom with green on it. Leaves are green, blossoms have other colors. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. LOL

Playful Spectrum is a pretty one.. Though, as you said, no green edges. Makes one want to get one and cross-pollinate. Badly.

To each their own, I guess. :) 'm rather fond of the greenies just for contrast. Wouldn't want a violet that's all green, or green-and-white, though.

It seems to me that blossoms that have a little green in them last longer.

The blossom looks like a chimera to me. Take a look at some of the blossoms in Robs. I think the bloom on Carnation Sprinkles looks similar except for the green edge. Playful Spectrum has a nice nloom with a lot of purple fantasy but like CS there is no green.

Also on Lyons website, check out 'Lime Jewel'. I bet if you hybridized that with Playful Spectrum, you would possible get something similar to your heart throb.
