Hey. Thanks for the opinions on the fantasy violets. Now I have a mystery to solve. I have these two fantasy violets.....'Amour Elite', and 'Suncoast Paisley Print'. The flowers are next to identical,I looked up the description online and see the flowers, they look almost identical, so I figured the leaves would break the tie. But it didnt. The descriptions both say they have 'plain green' leaves. Something to that effect.
But both of my plants have red backed leaves, the 'Amour Elite' has very frilly leaves, and the 'Suncoast Paisley Print' has red backed much plainer rounder leaves.
In the descriptions for both,it does not say that either have red backed leaves. OR that one has frilled leaved. So..I am stumped. I bought from people I know are reputable, they know their violets, but I either mixed up the tags on the plants, or I have some kind of 'sport'??? Anyone grow both or either, and maybe can add to the description for me, so I can solve this puzzle? Thanks
