African Violets

leaves....

I have a friend who gave me six african violet leaves...she told me to put them in water until roots appear, somehow I dont think this is the correct way to start african violets, some advice please????

This link will explain the way to propagate your leaves.
It's very easy. Just follow the instructions and in a few months you will have little mouse ears popping up.\

I have had some success with starting leaves in water but I think starting them in solo cups is a better way.
