There is an older post showing wicking with pots inserted in baby food jars. The photos and plants are beautiful.

I use a turkey baster to water. It works great, as well.

i use a syringe if i plan on watering just one or two plantlets, but just discovered the magic condiment bottle. the cheap one i bought is leaking, but i am planning on getting a better one, because it is just so handy :-)

wicking didn't work for me, but i did change a lot over to mat watering, because i was having humidity issues. now i think i have too much of that, but that's another story ;-)
