| I'm actually looking for a really true-BLUE African Violet. What I'm finding is mostly blue-violets, or blue-purple's.
Does anyone know of any really Blue African Violets? Thanks. |

| Wikipedia lists 58 different shades of Blue. Which one did you have in mind? |
| There are no true blue violets. All the 'blue' ones are at least somewhat purple. The closest to blue that I've seen is Rodeo Country. |
| I like L'heure Bleu, Ruffled Skies, and Faded Denim. They're close ...
| I also like Anastasia, Caribbean Blue, Hiroshige, and Taffeta Blue.

| Very few plants have a gene for blue. I think delphiniums do but can't think of any others, though I'm sure there are. |
| No; Saintpaulia doesn't have the gene to produce blue pigments. Although I'm sure *someone* is working on splicing one in. |
