I grew it and treated it the same as all my other plants.
I gave it to my boyfriend, and he treats it the same as all of his plants.

Neither of us have had to treat it "special".. And we both wick-water, meaning it was never dry.

What problems are you having with it?

It looks as if it is drying up. I am thinking about wick watering it as it is just not happy. Leaves are all wilted looking and droopy.

I'd give it more water... Whoever told you it needs less, not sure why they told you that. If it looks thirsty, it probably is :-)

I decided to wick water Lyon's Fireworks and she is looking much better today. Thanks to the good advice here, she may just make it.
