I side with Dora. You are lost, start thinking about purchashing a shelving unit with lights ;-)). And another one, and another one, call us when you pass the mark of 1500 plants...

I loved your pink bloomed one with "feathering" or "veining" on the blossoms.

A couple of suggestions.

get yourself a tabletop tripod - I think it is $9.99 in Best Buy - and check if your camera has a macro option. Some lucky people do not have trembling hands... I do - so I use tripod, the second thing - do not use the camera flash - it bleaches the pic. It is so much better if you choose a time with a good natural light from outside.

Second suggestion - I would chuck the plant that is sitting in a double ceramic pot. It has so many spots - it can be all water damage - or it can be virus. Which is not curable and can be contagious.

Irina and Dora,
I have 2 shelving units, 10 2-bulb light, and over 200 violets now.

Irina, I will use my tripod when I find it. I know I have one here somewhere... I will turn the flash off and take new photos. I hope they will be better. the plant in the double pot was nipped by the cold. It's recovering well but the outer leaves are burnt a bit.

I have the tiniest blooms on "Double Black Cherry"!! It is the cutest thing I have seen in a bloom.

Great job, congratulations on your successes! How long from seed to bloom?

The bloom on pics 6,7 and 10 looked most interesting. The others seemed pretty common to me.
Only problem I have with unnamed plants is that they can't be entered into an AVSA class collection at a show.
