The Mid Atlantic African Violet Society (MAAVS) is holding their annual convention this year in Williamsburg, VA. Dates are November 11, 12, 13, with the show being open to the public on the 13th.

I was able to attend last year, and it was a lot of fun. It's a good time to meet up with old friends and make new ones. It was also a great opportunity to score new plants, with 7 vendors there!
