Baby mouse ear!

I put nine cuttings in a single double butter container with drainage holes in the bottom of one at the end of April. I checked this morning and one of the cuttings has a bright green baby mouse ear!

Should I leave it until I see more mouse ears?

I started half of the cuttings in water for several weeks so that they would grow water roots before putting them in commercial AV soil. I don't know if this lucky cutting was one of the water transplants.

I had a plastic baggy around the double container the entire time, shifting between a north-west window sill, careful not to let it burn in the afternoon and putting it under fluorescent light for six hours during the evening

So far only one cutting has withered away.
