it is a beginning of a seedpod. If this blossom was pollinated (usually by thrips unless you did it intentionally) - the seedpod will develop to the size of chickpea, will hang on the plant for several months until it dries - and then you can seed your seeds. If it is not pollinated, the seedpod won't grow and it will die and dry soon.

Size of a chickpea, wow thats large, I never knew that. Yes, I did try out some of my own pollination, just to see what I get. For the last pic, the bloom just fell off a few days after pollinating and I was left with that pod like thing. Can I still keep that or should it be still on the plant.

if you want to let them ripe - you need to keep the "berry" for 4-6 months until it starts drying on its own. What you removed from the plant is not developed enough to be viable.
