I always like to wait a week or two for them to recover from their postal in box experience. They have already been shocked by changing environment, then battered about, then changing environment again. I know some people repot immediately though. I know how to water the plants in my soil mix, so I want to get them repotted before too long so I don't over or under water the medium they arrived in.

Be sure you keep them isolated from your other plants just in case they have insect or virus.

I'm one of the people who repot imediately into my own mix. I do this because I wick everything and I want to start my new plants with my mix. I do however isolate the new ones for at least a month.
