Is it plastic or glass? Because if it is plastic - you can drill or burn the hole in a bottom. Small size of the container forces the babies faster... but keeping it from over or underwatering - it is stressful.

It is glass, which is why my hesitation.

Perhaps dixie cups, although unsightly, are better.

Yogurt containers seem too big.

Sure is pretty, though.

You can use a solo cup or pill cup - and insert it in this cachepot.

here's my farm.
been recovering from mite attack last year, so from 40 plants only 12 survived (was left with 1! mature blooming one). so I had to wait for tiny sprouts from crowns, which took a very long time and finally they are looking good. I mean, I already have 6 sizable bloomers, but these are still in cups like OP. though I did cut little slits in the bottom for watering. I spoon feed them carefully, that is ... spoon-water. but it's covered with plastic, so I only water twice a week.

but these ones are in plastic deli containers with lids and have no holes in the bottom. in pure perlite, so I water them very carefully, but even if almost dry they are ok, provided they're lidded.
