A question about a young AV blooming...

The AV in question is Ma's Crime Scene, and I received it in bud a few weeks ago. The flower has slowly been opening but isn't as red in the photo at Rob's website. It's a different shade of red... I guess what I'm wondering is will the flower color change as the plant matures? I read in another post about the variegation of plants going away if the weather is too warm/hot but will come back when the weather is cooler. Is this true for flower colors, too?

Thanks in advance!
Barbara

RE: A question about a young AV blooming...

Since everyone has a different camera for taking pictures, AND a different computer monitor for viewing them on, you can never really take any color you see in a pic of a flower online as "true"
