The AVSA site is down.
I talked to them yesterday, they sounded really
busy and said to call back today. But now the site
is down.

DH - is getting better - and crankier. I guess that no salt diet prevents him from appreciating my cooking skills.

Judging school - I think they always run judging schools on the Conventions (next one Nashville end of May). The club or the State Council can contact the AVSA and ask for the teacher to be sent to have the school on the premises. It is a Master judge who decided to volunteer to become an teacher. I had the experience of Joyce Stork teaching us recently - and Barbara Elkin - years ago. Both were superb. You get a lecture and a test - which is graded by the instructor and approved by the Judges Chairman of AVSA.
The Council designates some money to cover the tickets and hospitality expenses for the teacher.
Since the School should be approved through the AVSA - the Judge Chairman has the schedule - so you can contact him and find one you can drive to if you are lucky.
