Could be sun damage. If you look at how the centre of the crown grows upwards, that can be a pointer that the plant is getting too much light (or too little, but seeing as you say it is setting flower buds, too much is more likely).

My sun damage doesn't usually show as such neat spots though. I'll attach an example...

I suspect sun damage as well. The 3 leaves I can see in your photo that show damage are probably ok to leave on. The vast majority of those leaves are undamaged, and they haven't yellowed with age yet, so at this point it's just a cosmetic issue. If it bothers you, you can take them off. It looks like the row of leaves above is large enough that you might not even need to repot. Is there any chance there was some water on the leaves while the plants were in the light? That would explain the restricted areas of damage and why the edges are so even.

It could be water. I was watering from the top for a while. I tryed to be careful to not get water on the leaves but I guess i did and didn't see it.

If you've gotten water on the leaves when they're in the light, that would probably be it right there. Usually I have to hold the plant up to the light to see if I've got water still left on the leaves (before I put them under light), otherwise, my puny eyes don't see it!

I've also found that plants not used to my light conditions (like new ones, or ones I've had at work under a milder fluorescent) get burnt when placed in a sunlit window!

Judy you are probably right. I bought this a few months ago and it was in a very dark environment. It was on a lower shelf at a florist in a box so maybe the south window is too much. I moved it away to a different spot
