I think it's Paula - pb213 - who's had the problems. I don't think it was in a dedicated thread but it came up in another thread, maybe in Eye Candy. I have to leave in a minute, so can't search now. Did you try searching on mites? It might not help as that search there is a bit tricky, but may be worth a try. When I come back I'll look, too.

OK, I'm back. I did a search and found out it was pb213 - Paula. I found some references in a post called Pesticide Paranoia (about treating mites) and then Paula wrote about what she did in a thread on the Eye Candy section - the thread is Private Dancer. Hope that helps.

Yes, I did sign up day before yesterday when you first mentioned the site. It isn't like our site where you can read the postings without being a member. I got accepted yesterday. Maybe will get in touch with Paula and see how her mite problem is progressing. Thanks for the information.

Yes, it's definitely not as easy access as this site. I always come here first, but that site is a bit more active. One of the "brats" there tells me that the Dave's Garden site is even more active, but they do a lot of chatting about other stuff, so maybe it's not more active in terms of talking about AVs.

Thanks lathyrus odoratus of suggesting the "brats". Between the Garden Web and Brats I feel like I am really getting a handle on these mites. At least I feel some hope of getting these poor plants back in shape. I gave them another Avid bath today. They look much better. The leaves just sparkles.
Next week will use the Forbid to kill the eggs.

Glad it's working. While they might not be common, people do get them and the eggs seem hard to get rid of, which perpetuates the cycle. I hope the Forbid, expensive as it was, knocks them out for good.
