I placed a couple AV's in the humid bathroom. They receive some morning sun and they are very close to a bright window.

Many flowers of the AV's are blooming vigorously and for a long time. The leaves look fine and vigorous.

However, some of the small buds have wilted peduncles. The main peduncles supporting a number of branches and buds appear okay. But some of the small branches turn from a transparent green to a nontransparent brownish color. The tiny peduncle will then lose its firmness and wilt. The flower buds look okay, but their supply is cut off. I see no sign of any fungus. At the same time, many other flowers, buds and peduncles are fine.

What could have costed this kind of bud blast.
