Yep.. its that time of year again.. I love our fall show!!!

Lakeshore African Violet Society NORTHERN ILLINOIS

WHERE: Chicago Botanical Gardens

1000 Lake Cook Road

Glencoe, IL

WHEN: October 1 and 2

10 am to 4 pm

We will have a nice show, and of course SALE... Sale plants from Travis Violets and Optimara, and club members as well! Come on over and see us! The garden is beautiful! I think there are other activities planned for that weekend as well!!

HI! I am planning to be at your show also. I was at the Botanical Gardens a few weeks ago but was disappointed that they didn't have any african violets there. A kind gentleman that worked there told me about your show. It will be so much fun to see special african violets. I have only been growing them for about three months but I am crazy about them.

The garden has TONS of stuff goin on this weekend.. Make sure you check out the greenhouses...the orchids are SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!

Oh Zuzu, I didn't know you were coming. You could have introduced yourself to me, too, as I was there both days. Young black girl, couldn't miss me either! lol!

It was nice seeing you Shantel, and I picked up 7 goodies all in all. It was a very nice show and made me put several more plants on my Want List.
