The violets you purchased at LOWES are, undoubtably, from the Optimara line.

Optimara stopped labeling their violets for retail sale at some point, because of mis-labeling complaints.

You can go to the Optimara site and see if you can find a Violet that matches what you've got.

I named those violets myself and enjoyed them non-the-less.

Thanks so much. After looking through the entire listing of pink blooms, I'm fairly confident I have Optimara Cindy. I also looked at the "currently sold" list. I decided on Optimara Cindy or Optimara Michigan. The Michigan is said to have a red leaf back. My violet has a pink back, quilted and serrated leaves. If it is an Optimara, it is most like Cindy. I really like Optimara Idaho and the violets with variegated leaves - lovely.

Hi April, I have had violets for years, but have recently gotten re-enthused about them and have started a growing collection. My picture is of three I bought at Lowe's last month. I went to the Optimara ID page and pinned mine down to Chagall, My Desire, and Millenia (or possibly Rita). Those two are hard to tell apart. Susan,I will contact you when I post pics. I have pictures of the violets now, but there are no blooms. I figure they will be much easier to identify once they bloom so I will wait until then to post. Thanks so much.

Your violets are absolutely beautiful. I went by Lowes yesterday to see if there were any new possibilities. They had about 8 plants but nothing intriguing. I would REALLY love a variegated leaf variety. I plan to keep looking online until I find one.
