African Violets

Prevention question

Soon I will have to bring my large houseplants in from the porch. A Norfolk Island Pine and a large Schefflera. I don't want anything from them to contaminate my AVs, so what is the best way for me to treat them for pests before bringing them in. Will Neem oil spray be enough, also should I drench the pots with anything. Thanks in advance.

I would spray them with Neem oil 3 times week apart and keep them in another room for some time.
I am not familiar what bugs live on araukaria (N.I.P.) - but I think you can bring spider mites on Schefflera. They do not attach themselves that easy to AV -it is broad and cyclamen mites that are dangerous - but it can happen too.
