Aaargh!

Ok, nothing's gone wrong with my violets yet. They are all lined up in trays in my old apartment ready to go in the car (I was worried the truck would chill them too much).
Only thing is the car just broke on us as we dropped off the rental truck so I won't see them until Monday, maybe later. Depending on how successfully my darling husband fixes it (did I mention he never brought his car tools? Nor any food? Procrastinated until the very, very last minute, and then decided it was time to drive off with half our things still in the old apartment. - I will never understand men...)
So, yeah, I am a bit worried but more annoyed really, the violets actually do ok when a bit dry, not so much my other plants (except the cacti).
Just venting here, so don't take me too seriously...

On a positive note, the new place may be a shoe box, but it has three nicely placed windows with good size window sills, that should be a good thing for my plants :-)

Oh no. Moving is the pits. :(

I'm going to be going through the same thing in a little under a month, and I keep having to remind myself that this transitional part with boxes everywhere is just temporary. There WILL be a day when our living space is normal again, and your plants will be loving a new windowsill.

Well, I am waiting to hear from the guy who is supposed to fix the car any minute. So that might actually work out, and I could possibly pick the plants up tonight - depending on how long it takes.
In the meantime, I get to unpack, bathe the dog, and clean. Yay.
Ok, I tried to bathe the dog, but he would hear none of it. Ever Try to reason a 70lb gsd into a bath tub with 'it'll make the itch go away' - didn't work. I washed him next to the tub and used all but one towels in my possession to wipe up the spilled water... Comical really.
Afterwards he sat down in front of me and itched on purpose, I swear!
Anyhow, the vet says I get to do this every week now.
Gotta love plants for being low maintenance - at least they don't bite when you bug-spray them. but then they can't give you hugs :-)
