Hi! everyone, Just joined the garden web sunday, & looked at the AV forum today. I have several AVs. I have been into them for 2 or 3 yrs. I enjoy finding different looking ones. I have rescured several since I started, have given several away to friends. I don't claim to know alot about them, but so far I haven't had any trouble with them. I always thought that they were hard to take care of so didn't try them for a long time. I tried one & it just took off & hasn't stopped. I treat mine just like I do the rest of my plants & they do just fine. I have a 8x8 room off my living room for my plants. It has windows 6x6 ft. around three sides. One to the east,north & south, with the ones to the south opening out under a porch. I have a heatpump with a vent in the plant room. All my plants like it in there. Would love to hear from any of yall about AVs as I can use all the knowledge & experience that anyone has about AVs. Glad to have found this forum.
