I noticed it too and figured the forum guru probably deleted them for being off-topic so to speak.

Sorry Donna but the ones that were removed were right on topic :)

Oh well.....

I've been gone for a few days, so maybe I simply missed what happened, but I didn't notice anything. Dora, what posts were removed?

I guess I've never really asked (or, I admit, read about) about how moderation works here. Since this thread isn't really about AVs, is it something moderators would remove? Or is there some other criteria?

Yup, I noticed too. Don't know if I like that, but I guess the moderators do have that right. Oh well...

I think the post that was removed was a bit of advertising for something. I don't remmeber what it was but I do remember that it was the type of message that the forum doesn't allow.

Nah, Fred, that was some spam for shoes. The ones Dora is referring to were in the ph down thread. I suspected they would be removed, so I copied them and if anyone is interested they can send me an e-mail for a copy.

I don't think they look over every thread for off topics, etc...I think when someone complains, a moderator checks it out and decides to remove it or not.
