Bad news- in the busy aftermath of Hurricane Ike I lost some of my new violets, as many as a third of them, because there were for a while much more pressing demands on my time

Bad news- due to the fact I bought tiny baby plants and leaves to start out with because they were less expensive, I actually haven't seen more than a couple flowers yet so far.

Good news- I finally found out what 'mouse ears' are, in person!!!!!!! My leaves I bought have nice big ears, they will get transplanted during the holidays!!!!

Good news- I actually passed the bar exam, first try!!!
