I have found pots to be increasing difficult to find. I would check Cape Cod Violetry first and also E Bay.

I got a self watering seed starting tray from lee valley tools ages ago - I tossed the bottom part because it was useless for what I was doing at the time, but kept the 2" pots - turns out they are a great size for starting standards or keeping semis...
I am actually thinking of getting another one, for the bottom watering qualities this time - I figure if it isn't sitting in the rain, it might actually be useful.
Ah well, only sold in stores. If u go to canada u can pick some up though :-)

If you want yellow violets, you might take a look at the Lyndon Lyon catalog on line. LyndonLyon.com
They are in upstate NY and very reliable in their customer service. They send good size starter plants that are often in bloom. They are one of the leading hybridizers that also does retail business. They have a large inventory of plants. One of the threads I posted entitled "New Interview with Paul Sorano" shows their greenhouse. Paul Sorano is the current owner. You might want to take a look. However, they might not be shipping until spring. Their website will tell you.

@ Karin, thank you for posting that link. The system looks great and also very economical. The pots look sturdy. I will be ordering a couple of those myself.

Maybe it's me, but I cannot find that same system on the American version of the site - they may have it, but I wouldn't get my hopes up too much ;-)

Mind, it (or a similar design) ought to be available elsewhere, seen as I noticed the same system, with smaller pot sizes, being used at the nursery where I just bought some minis....

Perhaps what is available retail only in Canada is available mail order for the U.S. who can't get it retail
