Thanks, EA, but my shelves are 18 x 48 so these won't fit. I think they're a great idea except I can't find anywhere if they are heat resistant and can be used over the fluorescent fixtures. I did find a site which indicates there are four per package but the Amazon seller doesn't say.

Another option is the fluorescent light panels (not the grids) that are available in Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. They can be trimmed to fit. There are different styles that allow different amounts of light through.
