Nobody really wants to ship anything in winter. There are a couple of vendors who ship with a heat pack - but it is more expensive.

You probably have better chance contacting somebody in your area.

Thank you for the information and reply.
I have been very fortunate as another Gardenweb member emailed me to share even in the midst of winter. In addition, I found some friends (local in my area) that had AVs. I was given a couple leaves to start a beautiful burgundy and a double pink and white.

I am very excited and looking forward to growing them all.

Certainly, it will be my pleasure to share progress!
I will keep my fingers cross that the leaves root well. I have them covered with plastic and a bamboo stick holding them up to prevent direct plastic contact on the leaves. So hopefully it will be humid/comfortable enough for them to grow good roots.

Sounds like a good set-up just don't allow them to be too wet. Keep us posted!
