out of 17000 registered plants and oodles of unregistered ...identifying a plant from a photo is a mission impossible. Love your plant as a NOID or give it a house name - My Precious, or Margie's Pink.
Try to post it in "gallery" part of this forum. Who cares if the name is lost - a blooming violet - is still a little piece of heaven.
I heard AVSA decided to include them back again. I am not sure why they removed them from the list at the very beginning.
I would say I can positively identify just several varieties. Rhapsodie Cora is one of them, Designer Dress, Rob's Boondoggle, Picasso... and that's about it. Probably Space Violets. There are so many lookalikes ... most of NOIDs come from the big box stores and often from Harster greenhouses - and I bet they recycle the same marketing names for different clones and never register any of them.
