Wow this site is great.. Just getting started in planting new and unusual plants. Started off with the trusty Hostas. I am new to the South. My favorite flower is The Dahlia. I have not had good luck with this plant coming back. Do I have to dig it up every year in the South? or am I just not planting it deep enough. Oh I would love to get into this plant and flower exchange too. Will have to get a list together.

Go to the conversation side and you will get more response or go to the dahlia forum. But I am sure someone from the Alabama forum could answer your ?
