| I am trying to ID a plant someone called lime grass. In summer it grows 10 - 12 feet high; the general structure is very similar to a cornstalk. I though this might be Phalaris arundinea var. picta (ribbon grass) but that plant is quite a bit smaller. It's variegated very much like that plant, though Any ideas? |

| There are a few Lymegrass cultivars (Leymus arenarius) but I cannot think of any that are variegated. I've never seen any that tall, either. I'm guessing that Nelson is absolutely correct, giant variegated reedgrass. |
