Cheap horse manure in Wetumpka

For those in or near Wetumpka...thought you might be interested in this ad that was in the Wetumpka Herald. I don't know if it is fresh or composted. I may check this out myself to get my gardens started for spring.

Oh I sure do want to check it out - i think TweetyPye and i need to go in on this - i'll pay for the horse compost if we can use her truck! We have talked about getting some of this - i may mention it to her tomorrow....

Horse manure is a good fertilizer, but be aware that horses don't fully digest grain, hay etc. so unlike cow manure you will have a problem with seeds sprouting. Just thought you would want to know.

i actually have stuff sprouting in some compost from cow manure as well - but, it happens.
