| For those of you who receive the Birmingham News, you may have seen the front page picture of Magnolia Florist in Hueytown which is going out of business. FYI - there is a decent greenhouse frame attached to the store. It is a metal (steel, I believe) frame sitting on top of a concrete block wal. I'm guessing it is approx. 25 feet long and 15 feet wide. This is the old location of Putnam's Florist (which sold out and moved) and has been around a long time. The building is old and not in the best shape so I'm guessing it and the greenhouse may be torn down after it is sold. They may sell the greenhouse frame and glazing separately. Call and ask if you are interested. |
