I just got a mailer on this. Has anyone read this magazine? Is it worthwhile in your opinion? Thanks!

I've picked up a few copies but much prefer the Carolina Gardener, which caters to the southeast, has been around 15 years or more, has writers whose books I have enjoyed, and garden in and write about the SE. I'm putting a link below...click on "About Us", then "Our Writers".

Alabama Gardener is online too, at http://www.alabamagardener.com
so you can compare. I just feel Carolina Gardener has more indepth articles. josh

Thanks Josh. I'll check out the Carolina Gardener. I did go online and check out Alabama Gardener, but I really couldn't get a feel for their writing and information they provide over other publications.

I've gotten Alabama Gardener for the last two years. Some issues are very good - with great topics. Some issues I could take or leave.

I've gotten more out of it than not - so I am glad to keep getting it.

I've just gone to the Carolina Gardener website - and think I'll subscribe to that too! (smile)

Every little bit helps - if you know what I mean...

The information is pretty basic but I subscribe to support a local effort. Linda
