| It is high season in the Camellia State and the Birmingham Camellia Show is this weekend Feb 11-12 at the Botanical Gardens. Hundreds of amazing blooms, choice plants for sale, information on growing camellias. First Lady Patsy Riley will be there to open the show at 2 pm, show runs all afternoon on Saturday and also Sunday afternoon. Great opportunity to see the state flower on display inside, as well as blooming in the gardens.

| What kind of juried competitions will there be, and are you entering anything? Sounds like a good reason for a......FIELD TRIP!!!! The botanical gardens are easy to get to and the admission is free, by the way. |
