Is it still too early to plant red Flanders poppy seeds? I want blooms this spring? Should I wait until March 1?
Thanks

Hi there! I was told that you plant poppy seeds in the fall or winter--sow them in sand, as the seeds are so tiny--they need the cold to germinate. I've got mine out, so we will see!
Good Luck, and as always,
Happy gardening,
Tina

Go ahead and surface sow them.
