I ordered some Wild Snapdragon fom Jackson & Perkins.

It will not be shipped until May.

Does anybody have any input about this plant??

It is suppose to be able to take full sun and seeds to spread quickly. Is pink and grows to 4ft tall..

I am wondering if they attract butterflies?? Or if there is anything else I should know about them???

Anybody??

Jackson & Perkins lists the scientific name for the wild snapdragons, Penstemon palmeri.
A search on google for Penstemon palmeri, yields info about Cultural Requirements

RE: Wild Snapdragon

Thank YOU Terramadre; That Cultural Fact Sheet reads like a DREAM to me. Takes full sun, is intolerant of over watering..reseeds easily, needs very little plant food..Oh how I love plants that are easy.

I ordered it because it is a perennial and Jackson & Perkins picture shows it as VERY pretty. I hope it turns out as pretty as they picture it.

In a year or so I will have some to trade.
