How can it be that I'm already weeding??? That terrible cold a few weeks ago didn't help at all! Anyway, I've never used a pre-emergence herbicide in flower beds. Has anyone tried this? If I pull out all the existing weeds and then apply the pre-emerg. do you think that would at least help cut down on the problem? (I won't apply it in the beds that have flowers that reseed). I mulch all my beds and that does help, but I don't mulch my iris bed cause they really don't need to be covered up to bloom well. They are already COVERED up in weeds! Another area that's always weedy is a mondo grass bed. May try the pre-emergent there. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
