I have not been able to garden like I have in the past so now I get my "new" knees. I am scheduled for bilateral knee replacement in another week and wondered if anyone has had knees replaced and kept gardening? What little tricks to you have to make it easier? I can't wait to be able to move and bend again.

Good luck on your knee replacements; I hope everything goes perfectly. I still have my old, arthritic knees, so I can't help you with any tips about new knees. But I do have replaced hips and I know it takes a while to get back to anything near normal with gardening after major surgery. Knees are more complicated than hips. Follow your doctor and physical therapist's advice about when to get back to gardening. They know your situation better than anyone. Physical therapists are great when it comes to ideas about how to do something.

I don't see why you can't. You should get about 90 in flexion and full extension. May take about 3-6 months before you get there.
