| Rosemary, it looks like a bletilla orchid. They do well in rock gardens. See the link. Compare the leaves and blooms. |

| Terry - i think you are right! so, now the question is....did it come from Nelson or Michelle or who?!?! :) i am reading the swap thread now - and i believe i need to put it on my calendar. even though i probly won't get to get anything together to swap (stimulus - grants - overtime) - i can still come visit! |

| Hi Rosey - it is Bletilla (ble-TIL-la) striata (Hardy Orchid). You did get it from me. I have 5 different varieties and they are absolutely gorgeous. I am glad you are coming to the swap. It doesn't matter if you bring anything. See if I have anything on my list that you would like. They are going fast. I may have an alternate solution for the plant swap. I am checking into it today. I will keep everyone posted. |
