Upcoming freeze dilema

We've got two ferns hanging on our front porch. As happens every year, there's already a nest in one of the ferns. We enjoy this because we can hear them singing from inside the house and they always have babies.

We're leaving to go away for Easter tonite & I'm not sure what to do about the ferns. My inclination is to take them down and put them in a corner on the porch, but I'm worried that we'll lose our birds that way. I haven't checked for eggs yet, but imagine it's a little early for that.

So, do I leave the fern hanging so I don't disturb the nest but risk losing the plant, or move the plant and risk losing the birds?
