Yes I believe the green will come back might take some time but God made this world too pretty to let one area stay so brown always unless it is the dessert even then there is some beauty. Bless all you folks that had to go through that but it will come back just maybe different.

I am currently in New Orleans. My ladydriend's house, in Lakeview, got at least 6 feet of water. When we returned in October, everything was brown and grey. All the ornamentals died except for part of the Iris pseudoacorus, plus one elderberry and a small chinese elm. Recently I saw some Lantana and blackberry start growing again. But pokeberry bushes are everywhere! On the plus side, the bird seed we have been throwing in the yard has caused us to haqve a lot of sunflowers that are starting to bloom!
