| I just looked at the forecast on al.com and found that a a low of 28 degrees is predicted for Monday night, and a low of 33 for Tuesday. I'm glad I didn't set out annuals and veggies yet.

| I guess this is "blackberry winter." About the same as last year, except the freeze was a little later. I'm glad I don't own a nursery that just got a big shipment of veggies in that can't fit inside. some forecasts are predicting 33 degrees, which means that old pessimist James Spann on TV will say mid 20's. |

| OK, I have about 60 pots of stuff potted up for the swap. I guess I'll have to cover them with plastic. BTW, I have found the temps forecast by WEATHER.COM are more dependable than the James Spann-Jerry Tracy-Mark Prater cabal. These guys are competing for TV ratings by way of sensationalism. Can you tell I am a little bit of a cynic? |
